When in Rome…#TravelBlogging #R&R๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

I was reminded today by a friend that when you work hard, it's important to play harder. It's been a whirlwind of a year for me professionally already and in terms of balancing work, study and life, my report card currently states, "Nichole is trying her best and still has room for improvement!" ๐Ÿ™‚

With this in mind and two young and easily bored children onboard, we thought that a change is as good as a rest… For this trip, we've headed to land of the Romans to get some rest and relaxation!

As a token of my love and appreciation for you all being on my journey with me, I share a peek into our world! Just a peek plus loads of historical landmarks in Roma! Can you name any? Suggest some fun captions! This is all in the first 24 hours.

We ❤ Italy already and are so excited to discover some more.

Now, I just need to get all my roman cliches out of the way. It may take me some time though because, as you know, Rome wasn't built in a day. 😂

So, romans, countrymen …lend me your eyes. 😱

Finally, I leave you with my favourite, …when in Rome…🇮🇹☕️😊
