Win-win!

I firmly believe that no experience is wasted. What doesn’t kill you certainly makes you stronger.

In my professional life as a nurse for more than 16 years, I’ve had many ups and downs, like many others. I’ve made a conscious choice to view each experience as learning. The positive experiences teach me a lot, however, the not so positive experiences teach me even more.

In a nutshell, I learn more about situations, others and myself when the going gets tough. I’m only human so I may shed a tear every now and then especially when treated unjustly and unjustifiably. Overwhelmingly, the lesson that I’ve learnt from my not so positive experiences of dealing with some staff is that those behaviours are a reminder of the type of person that I’ll never wish to become. Win-win!

As I venture in the new chapter of my life, I am positively optimistic that life is what you make it. The future looks bright 😎
