My 2017 – first 2 weeks!

Two weeks into 2017 and it is already promising to be a good year. A year of greater self-awareness, self-belief, fun and inspiring others on their journeys.

I’ve started as I mean to go on. Balancing life as a working mother and part-time PhD student among my many other roles is a real challenge. It’s a challenge, not impossible. Still, I’m prioritising more ‘me time’, sleep time and quiet reflective time.

I’m wishing all my readers, followers and friends the same peace of mind that I’m experiencing. Go get your 2017!!!

Picture blog of the first 2 weeks of my 2017:

* My UK Nursing and Midwifery Social Media Leaders 2016 badge has arrived.

*Feeling great that my ethics application has been compiled and is almost ready for submission. This is major because it means I’m a giant step closer to finally doing my research.

*Feeling colourfully cheerful earlier today! Winter mode.

*After waking up at midday. The eyes tell you a lot about someone. I’m well rested here.

…who knows what will happen next?

Whatever happens, I choose to live expectantly and faithfully. What are your goals for 2017? I’d really love to hear from you!
