A Grateful Heart❤️

I live each day of my life with a grateful heart. I try my best to see the blessings in the ‘disappointments’ and the lucky escapes in the last minute changes to plans which are often out of my control.

‘Bouncebackability’ is a trait that I am grateful to have been blessed with or is it that I have chosen it? The jury is still out on this. My ‘bouncebackability’ or resilience has certainly served me well over the years. Yes, I’ve had many a chance to practice! 😉

Put it this way, in the most non-arrogant way possible, I would not bet against myself. Call it sheer tenacity, audacity or as we say in Jamaica, ‘flipping hard ears’, I will come out fighting. Sure, there will be battle scars and moments of crises of confidence, however, these are thankfully short-lived and only serve as reminders of how far I’ve come and why quitting ain’t on the agenda.

The ability to smile while crying through the momentary setbacks in life is key to living with gratitude. Having the insight to figuratively ‘have a word’ with one’s self also nurtures gratitude and ‘bouncebackability’.

Be grateful for what you have. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. Reflect on your journey and be thankful that you have been blessed this far. So many would happily accept your lot.
I leave you with two burning questions that I would like to reflect on.

How will you live with gratitude? What will you do?
