What do you see?

What do you see when you look at me?
Do you see my smile?
Do you see my heart?
Do you see my dreams?
Do you see my hopes?

What do you see when you look at me?
Do you see my fears?
Do you see my pain?
Do you see me as an equal or someone who should take whatever is offered?
Do you see me as a threat to the equilibrium?

What do you see when you look at me?

You see, I see someone just trying to make a positive change to my life and others.
I see someone aiming to get ahead by using the talents I’ve been blessed with.
I see someone who just needs a break to take the next step.

What do I see when I look at me?
I see me. Simply me.

Thoughts of an ambitious soul with a joyful heart.❤️

Nichole. That wasn’t just an ordinary poem. It truly was cathartic. You deserve all the best because you are truly a very good person. I can feel that very strongly. I hope I didn’t offend you with my tweet about your beauty. You truly are…physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

Aww! Thank you so much for being such a wonderful supporter. I took no offence at all! It takes a beautiful soul to take the time to care. Wishing you all the best! Much love! Nichole😊
