Maroon Mindset Mentoring ❤️💛💚

Happy New Year! May 2020 be everything you want it to be. A new year provides a clean slate, a blank canvas, a second chance to be who we need to be. Throw in the fact that it's also a new decade and the opportunities are ten fold! It's the perfect time to invent, reinvent…

Stand out!

As we head towards the end of the year 2019 and the end of a decade, it’s an opportunity to pause, take stock and make some new decade goals. I’m thinking BIG! I’m thinking BOLD. How about you? What are your goals for 2020? You see, I’m heading towards my 45 year on the planet…

How blogging gave me back my mojo! #100blogposts🎉 #2years

This is one of the shortest blogposts I will ever write. I guess it's true that quality trumps quantity. That's kinda ironic when I highlight that this post is in honour of my 100th blogpost! Yes, I'm celebrating 100 posts on my Human Touch ❤✍🏽 Blog. For anyone who joined my blog recently, here's a…

Re-post of one of my favourite posts! It resonated with many readers too. As classic today as it was when first published in Summer 2015. If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.

The Human Touch❤️✍🏾 by Nichole McIntosh FRSA

Like many people at this time of the year, I’m on a ‘summer break’ from work and studies so just a few lines to share with you really briefly. The ‘break’ has really reminded me that, if your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete. There are many ways to show compassion and we need to remember to start with ourselves. We cannot give what we don’t have.

I found this gem of a picture which captures my feelings beautifully. I thought I’d share it with you so you too can enjoy the benefits of self-compassion.

I’m now feeling refreshed and ready to go. Let me know how you get on. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
