It’s less about how you start & more about how you finish. So finish like a boss! – My year in review.

Updated & Reblogged Post!!! Still reflecting and looking forward to 2017. This review of my 2016 is to capture the essence of a year that, in my opinion, has defied the odds! My 2016 has been a roller coaster of a ride of fantastic highs and painful lows. Those of you who've stuck it out…

Staying the course: positively inspirational

"How do you maintain your composure when you feel like you're losing control?  How do you stay on track when it seems that nothing is going to plan?  How do you rise above your circumstances when you feel that there is no hope?" These are just a few of the questions that have entered my…

My Day at The Abbey

This has truly been a momentous week for me. The Human Touch❤️✍🏾 by Nichole McIntosh FRSA

Like many people at this time of the year, I’m on a ‘summer break’ from work and studies so just a few lines to share with you really briefly. The ‘break’ has really reminded me that, if your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete. There are many ways to show compassion and we need to remember to start with ourselves. We cannot give what we don’t have.

I found this gem of a picture which captures my feelings beautifully. I thought I’d share it with you so you too can enjoy the benefits of self-compassion.

I’m now feeling refreshed and ready to go. Let me know how you get on. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
